NEW YORK (March 10, 2011) – Aon Hewitt, the global human resource consulting and outsourcing solutions business of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AON), today announced that Erik Bagin joined the firm’s New York City office as the market’s health care leader.

Bagin has proven success in managing health care and consulting practices. Most recently, he served as vice president and general manager of Medco Health Solutions, Inc, where he was responsible for new name sales, client retention and product sell-in.  He also was responsible for setting and implementing strategic financial and operating plans. Prior to Medco, Bagin held a leadership position with Hewitt Associates where he was responsible for managing Fortune 500 clients, and selling and delivering strategy, design and implementation of broad-based health and welfare consulting assignments.

With Aon Hewitt, Bagin is responsible for leading efforts in the New York City market to provide clients with the breadth and depth of service, solutions and innovation needed to manage the growing concerns and issues around health care.

Bagin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries, and is an enrolled actuary.

Bagin will join Aon Hewitt March 14.
