Aon’s “innovation at scale” strategy was featured in a Techonomy article highlighting how the firm supports interconnected, increasingly complex and rapidly evolving client needs through Aon Growth Ventures (AGV). Innovation at scale is one component of the Aon United Blueprint, which is how we shape decisions for the better and drive sustainable growth — working together as one firm.

• Jillian Slyfield, Aon’s global chief innovation officer, said, “AGV is a center of excellence within Aon, modeled after venture capital with a core team of solution development, strategists and c-suite experts positioned as the back office for growth-stage businesses created within Aon that work in each of several global macro trends. The leader of each team is responsible across the entire firm for net-new solution generation and to deliver current capabilities in new ways or to new clients.”

• In one example, Aon collaborated with PayPal to help their small business customers in the U.S. access insurance through the click of a few buttons through Aon’s CoverWallet solution on the PayPal Commerce Platform.
